StarEastNet.com Launches Teresa Teng Site
By korea.internet.com Staff Taiwan-born pop singer Teresa Teng Li-jun was immortalized electronically Tuesday with the launch of teresa.stareastnet.com, the late star's official Web site.

Teng died suddenly from an asthma attack
while traveling in Thailand in May, 1995.
Her love ballads were extremely popular throughout Asia, and Teng was one of the
first pop stars whose music was allowed
to be imported into the People's Republic
of China in the mid-1980s.

At the time of her death, Teng was living
in the Hong Kong seaside village of Stanley.
Her house currently operates as a memorial
and museum of her life and career.

The new site, launched by StarEastNet.com
with the support of Teresa Teng Foundation, includes photos, concert footage,discography, a virtual tour of her home, and a chat room.
